For the bar code assignment, we had to create a design that required the use of a bar code in the image. 

Positive and Negative Space

In positive and negative space, you make an image that isn't too vividly detailed to have focus on the main object (positive space) vs the background (negative space). It is used in composition to make the main object pop out.
